Job Title: Electrician - Housing Association (Central London)

Rate: £24.00 per hour

DBS Required: Basic Disclosure Check
About the Role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join our client - a well-established Housing Association based in Central London. This is a static-site position, working across a portfolio of void properties, with an immediate start for the right candidate.
This is a temporary contract lasting 3 to 6 months, offering £24.00 per hour. The role is full-time and based on-site, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix electrical installations on void properties
Undertaking reactive and planned maintenance works
Testing and inspecting completed works to ensure compliance
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
Ensuring all works are completed in accordance with current regulations and health & safety standards
Maintaining accurate job records and reporting as required
Requirements:
Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
Valid ECS or JIB Card
Previous experience working within social housing or domestic properties is highly desirable
Ability to carry out both installation and maintenance tasks to a high standard
Must hold a Basic DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Good communication and organisational skills
Reliable and self-motivated
