Resourcing Group have an exciting opportunity to join the This dynamic European energy company with operations in energy distribution grids, energy infrastructure solutions, and energy sales.

Overview

To work with existing framework customers to identify, develop and close further opportunities for partnership and revenue growth. To identify new customer targets and build new partnerships that lead to the business becoming a preferred supplier, in line with the wider Key Account strategy, in conjunction with the North Business Development Manager. This role, although working with customers with a national bias, will be targeted on revenue growth primarily in the Southern regions of the business. To make clients aware of and promote the business and wider business products & services. The role would be to develop relationships with customers and relevant stakeholders to understand their buying process, their budgets, decision making process, influencing factors and timescales to adapt offering to meet their needs.

Main duties & Responsibilities

  • To manage a blend of preferred supplier customers to ensure their satisfaction and continued revenue. Targeting framework opportunities, at procurement and customer bid team levels, to secure new opportunities and revenue growth.
  • Nurture and develop existing relationships with Tier 2/3 preferred supplier customers along with target preferred supplier customers via national strategy and pricing models.
  • Identify key PSA Southern region contacts and work with the Southern region account managers to ensure full PSA coverage is being
  • To provide timely update reports and briefings, monthly reports of Southern PSA activity and order forecasts, to the North Business Development Manager and Key Accounts Director.
  • Promoting and selling the business's brand of site based and remote services and understanding all the sales propositions across all business divisions/sectors.
  • Promote value add and sustainability led services such as lighting, solar PV etc. in order to generate opportunity for upselling.
  • Be customer focused at all times and deliver outstanding customer service by displaying a positive and proactive approach to meet the customer's needs on every occasion.
  • Act in a manner that continuously improves business performance and growth.
  • Forge and develop long term relationships with existing and new key contacts and decision makers within existing or potential customers.
  • Schedule regular contact with clients via face to face, remote or telephone meetings in order to maintain close working relationships and understanding of customers' business and identify new opportunities for the business

Specific Job Knowledge & Skills & Experience

  • Candidates should have experience of working with customer procurement teams and be able to demonstrate a successful track record of meeting sales targets and growing revenue over time
  • BEMS Knowledge is essential
  • A successful approach to building and developing long lasting relationships with customers
  • Ideally have an in-depth product knowledge of estimating, bid management, Building Management Systems, Sustainability & Energy reductions offerings.

Skills & Aptitudes

  • A passion for customer satisfaction and enjoys solving customer problems
  • A high level of energy and drive, and strongly motivated to achieve
  • Ability to work under own initiative but work as part of a
  • Excellent communication skills including highly developed listening and questioning skills; an engaging manner when communicating face to face, virtually, in writing and via telephone, with an ability to build relationships from the first interaction. A friendly and professional attitude
  • Ability to prioritize opportunities and allocate time and focus accordingly
  • Excellent organisation skills, be diligent in updating sales records, reports and customer account plans

Additional Information

  • This role will report to and work closely with both the North Business Development Manager and the Key Accounts Director
  • The role will be home based but expected to visit the London/Camberley office at least once a week with other time spent visiting the regional southern offices as well as customer offices. Some home working is also permitted.
