My client a well-established company within the social housing sector, providing essential reactive repairs and maintenance services to housing estates. They are currently seeking an experienced Grounds Worker to join their team for a 5-month contract based in the Stratford-upon-Avon/Leamington Spa area. If you have experience in fencing, brickwork, and are committed to delivering high-quality work, we want to hear from you.
Role Overview:
As a Grounds Worker in our Reactive Repairs and Maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering vital groundwork services, including fencing installation and repairs, brickwork, and other general maintenance tasks across various social housing sites. This is a fast-paced role, requiring you to work efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring that repairs and maintenance are completed within set timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out fencing installations and repairs to a high standard
- Perform brickwork tasks, including repairs and installations
- Conduct general grounds maintenance duties as required
- Respond to reactive maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Manage your own time and complete tasks within deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience within the social housing sector
- Must have your own van and be able to carry out tasks independently
- CAT & Genny for locating underground services (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of reactive repairs and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload
- Full driving license
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
