We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Fitter to join our team on a long-term temporary basis. You will be working on council properties, fitting kitchens as part of a larger kitchen and bathroom refurbishment program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen installations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install kitchen units, worktops, sinks, and appliances in council properties.
• Carry out associated carpentry, plumbing, and minor tiling work.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations.
• Work efficiently to complete jobs on schedule while maintaining quality.
• Liaise with tenants and site managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Identify and report any issues that may affect the installation process.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in kitchen fitting, preferably in a social housing or council property setting.
• Own van and tools (essential).
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry/Joinery (desirable but not essential).
• CSCS card (preferred).
• Basic plumbing and tiling skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
