Job Advert: School Sports Centre Cleaner

Location: Marriotts and Lonsdale School, Britton Way, Stevenage, SG2 8BL
Rate of Pay: £12.44 per hour
Contract Duration: 3rd March 2025 - 2nd May 2025 (Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)
Working Hours: 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM (4 hours per day)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at a school sports centre in Stevenage. This role involves maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the facility.

Duties Include:

  • Emptying rubbish bins.
  • Sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Cleaning equipment and toilets.
  • Replenishing stock as needed.

Role Details:

  • This position is temp-to-perm with a 52-week contract.
  • Requires flexibility to work one Christmas out of three.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work well within a team.
  • A valid DBS certificate is mandatory; only candidates with DBS will be shortlisted.

Uniform/Dress Code:

  • Jeans, T-shirt, and trainers.
