Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to manage and deliver our client's passive fire works contracts predominantly in the Social Housing realm. The successful candidate will oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction. This role requires flexibility to work across multiple locations in Somerset, Devon, and Cornwall.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the delivery of passive fire works contracts from inception to completion for clients in Social Housing.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Coordinate and manage project teams, including subcontractors and site staff.
* Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
* Implement and enforce health and safety policies on all projects.
* Monitor project performance, including financial performance and key milestones, and report to senior management.
* Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the passive fire works/fire protection industry within a Social Housing Maintenance environment.
* In-depth knowledge of passive fire works and related regulations.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* A relevant qualification in fire safety and contract management is desirable.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices in the fire safety industry.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
