Job Advert: Electrician - Residential Electrical Engineer
Location: Equans Block 10, Alderley Park, SK10 4TG
Shift Times:
- Start: 7:00 AM or 12:00 PM
- End: 4:00 PM or 8:00 PM
Pay Rate: £23.00 per hour PAYE
Salary: £30K - £35K (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Equans Block 10, Alderley Park. This role involves working hands-on to provide a variety of electrical services on contracted customer sites. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Service, PPM, and reactive works as required
- Proactive improvements to customers' electrical systems
- Delivering energy solutions and engineering support
- Participation in an out-of-hours callout rota
- Involvement in small project works
You will work directly with customers, building ongoing relationships and ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 18th Edition and 2391 Test & Inspection qualification is essential
- Basic DBS Check
- City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in fault finding within electrical panels
- Familiarity with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems
- Competence in report writing and working with computers
Additional Skills:
Experience working on energy solutions and engineering will be an advantage. You will be required to deliver both proactive and reactive electrical services to our contracted sites.
