Estates Technical Director

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sub-contractors, including CDM and H&S requirements, with support from compliance and H&S manager.
- Act as the site lead for all operational and technical matters, leading client meetings and ensuring actions are completed timely and diligently.
- Liaise with client/customer senior representatives on all operational matters.
- Conduct monthly contract meetings with the client and end user.
- Carry out quality audits to assist the Assurance Quality Manager.
- Complete and review monthly reporting data compiled by the administration team.
- Manage managers and Heads of Department Service (Hard/Soft FM) and the delivery team.
- Clearly communicate the company vision and objectives, ensuring the implementation of new procedures.
- Promote and drive the company's fundamentals and values in line with the business plan.
- Stay updated with industry developments, driving innovation and effective change.
- Provide leadership to ensure contractual commitments are met and exceeded.
- Champion a respectful workplace and lead teams with respect and dignity.
- Exploit opportunities for the strategic development of the contract to deliver increased turnover and profitability.
- Effectively communicate and implement business policies and processes within the contract.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Experience managing Soft and Hard Services contracts as well as outsourced deliveries, with significant experience operating at a senior level delivering contract services.
- Exceptional customer focus and the ability to collaboratively ensure business development.
- Ability to attend union meetings and Health & Safety forums with staff and clients regularly.
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
- Experience with performance-related contracts and management systems.
- Strong presentation, influencing, and motivation skills, with experience managing a team.
- Strong IT skills and competency with Microsoft Office packages.
- Extensive background and work experience in facilities management.
- Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, people management, and a collaborative management style.
- Experience in budget development and oversight.
- Commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
- Excels at operating in a fast-paced health care environment.
- Open to direction and committed to getting the job done.
- Ability to challenge and debate important issues to the organisation.
