Salary- Upto 38k basic
To ensure the delivery of compliant water and environmental service management to the contract in accordance with the contract deliverables and KPIs.
Main duties:
Multi-purpose role to maintain and upkeep environmental water systems and equipment in compliance and adherence to procedure, method statements or work instructions.
Surveying and assessment of all building water services in order to ensure compliance with HSC L8 ACOP and HSG 274 Parts 1, 2 & 3 guidance and Water Fittings Regulations
Fault find and assessment of water treatment equipment including softeners, dosing pumps etc.
Cleaning and disinfection of high-risk systems including cooling towers, water tanks etc when required.
Operation and water testing of cooling systems (Including Cooling Towers), closed systems and water treatment plant
Maintain a good appreciation of relevant Standards and Regulations
Liaise with contractors regarding water and environmental system issues and management.
Update the site water and environmental logbooks on a day to day basis.
Support contracted work e.g. clean sumps, interceptors etc is carried out in accordance with agreed method statement or work instruction and permits to work (PTW), when required.
Reconcile faults and/or defects ensuring that an audit trail is in place to follow actions

To maintain proficiency on all relevant IT packages and systems.
To keep up to date with relevant IT systems and proactively utilise Office 365
To establish a consistently positive working relationship with your client and end users.
To ensure an effective feedback mechanism is in place to allow clients feedback to be monitored and actions logged and closed out
To ensure all applicable processes are designed to ensure operational excellence; with waste reduced and value add increased.
Ensure an effective communications plan is in place and that stakeholder engagement is proactively managed.
To satisfy all contract deliverables.
To ensure all PPM work orders are completed on time in line with site KPIs requirements
Personal Competency:
Confined space CP - desirable , not essential
City and Guilds Certification in understanding legionella to include cooling towers (legionnaires' disease) - achieved or working towards.
Hold or be working towards Certificate in Water Fittings Regulations and in particular backflow (SPEC Course).
