Resourcing group have an exciting opportunity to join the leading FM & Real Estate company, working on an exciting contract. My client is looking for a Garage Coordinator
Role Summary
Co-ordinate the day-to-day operation of the vehicles: Point of contact for client staff transportation
Supervise on-site work activity for 2 x part-time Mechanics
Liaise with lease provider regarding replacement vehicles
Arrange & authorise vehicle servicing/repairs/MOTs
Manage pool vehicles
Maintain all transportation recorded data
Manage fuel deliveries to site fuel forecourt
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure continuous LPSA and adhere to all safety regulations and practises
- Carry out quality Loss Prevention Observations (LPO's)
- Periodically review JLA's (Job Loss Analysis) for each associated task and ensure on-site Mechanics work to JLA's
- Ensure all relevant SDS/COSHH in place
- Maintain company contractor logbook for incumbent supplier (mechanics)
- Report any unsafe acts, environments, situations to Supervisor immediately
- Report all Hazards/ Near Losses to Supervisor immediately
- Ensure all work orders are responded to quickly and efficiently
- Assist sub-contractors whilst on site, ensuring compliance with site rules/ regulations and LPS compliance
- Be prepared to cover a wide range of responsibilities within a number of service teams and assist Supervisor with any other duties as required
- Scheduling and coordination of Periodic planned vehicle maintenance, including servicing, MOT inspections, LOLER inspections and follow up maintenance
- Vehicle handover requirements for leased vehicles
- Liaise with lease company to obtain quotes and replacement lease vehicles when current leases expire
- Arrange breakdown/recovery services via lease company
- Organise loan vehicles for users when vehicles require servicing, repair, MOT etc.
- Maintain and ensure Motor Insurance Database is up to date
- Confirm vehicle repairs (visual inspection for body repairs) prior to handing back vehicle to user
- Check supplier maintenance invoices for accuracy

- Able to uphold requirements for self-presentation and appearance in accordance with expected standards.

- Courteous and polite manner with an emphasis on Customer Service.
Selection Criteria
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Excel
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Safety conscious
- Solutions driven
- Good level of admin
- Organisational skills
- Ability to mult-task
- Being technically minded is helpful for this role
