Resourcing group have an exciting opportunity to join the world's leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. Our client are recruiting for a Mechanical biased, Multi Skilled Engineer based In Rugby
The main responsibility of the role is the completion of planned & reactive maintenance tasks
The ideal candidate:
A good basic education is essential, with good written and spoken English, Mathematics and IT skills
The candidate must be formally trained in electrical services maintenance
Experience in multi skilled disciplines (mechanical, fabric, water hygiene, painting and carpentry)
Experience of critical environment facilities maintenance
Comprehensive mechanical and electrical engineering experience, undertaking reactive and planned preventative maintenance
Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities
Good computer skills are a necessity as there are number of reports that are required to be sent to the companies personnel and the client, as well as logging PPM's, work reports and incidences on the client's system
Sound knowledge and experience of Environmental, Health & Safety and regulatory requirements
Demonstrates organisational and planning skills
Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to work to own initiative and as part of a team with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High customer focus
None essential but advantageous, Formal H&S training, Legionella Awareness, Test and Inspect, PAT and IPAF
Key aspects of the role
Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements
Ensure all work requests are carried out within SLA
Work closely with manager, supervisor, peers
Occasionally travel to Derby to complete similar tasks using work pool van
Ability to carry out fault diagnosis on mechanical and electrical equipment
Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems and LOTO
Ensure that ACOP's applicable to the maintenance industry are followed
Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant
Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are adhered to for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices
Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes
Develop a good working relationship with all members of the companies staff and client's staff
Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required
