Osborne Case Study

Osborne Construction is a £350m turnover, family run construction business in the South East.Resourcing Group were engaged to provide and deliver a local employment skills plan that would satisfy planning conditions in order for Osborne and their developmentpartner to build a complex series of RC-frame mid to high rise residential blocks.

 

Approach

After an initial briefng with Osbourne, RG set to work on developing a measurable plan by engaging local institutions,mapping local talent, early stage engagement and clearly identifying the areas we could best infuence against local labour and upskilling targets.

 

Solution

RG identified, attracted and engaged with 2,300 local operatives,timetabled labour need versus programme, co-ordinated with local schools and colleges, and armed the client with a robust strategy capable of exceeding the demanding local employment levels linked to planning.
