Integral are one of the UK’s leading Facilities Management Providers and have recently joined forced with JLL. The run the day to day facilities as well as emergency engineering contracts for a large number of retail, leisure and corporate clients.
Resourcing Group have worked with Integral for the past 8 years and providing interim and permanent staffng solutions across engineering, facilities management, helpdesk and senior executive positions.
Integral had a large turnover of staff in their Workforce Planning team based in Birchwood. RG had been appointed exclusively to carry out a salary survey, which showed that similar roles in the area were paying up to 20% higher per annum. From this, Integral increased all the current staff from £19,000 to £21,000 and new applicants were offered £23,000 with further incentives.
Approach:
- Had Teams calls with the Talent Acquisition Manager, Service Director and HR Business Partner to agree working practices and price
- Discussed how we could support with a bespoke recruitment process and programme
- Established the talent pool required and what key skills were needed to improve the service in the department for Integral
Solution:
- The Director collated a team of specialist consultants to workon the project exclusively for a 14 day period.
- We spent the first 3 days speaking to all the candidates whomet the criteria, these were sourced from referrals,headhunting, job boards, our database and LinkedIn.
- Day 4 to day 7 were interviewing the candidates that met thecriteria, briefing them on the role, questioning them on theirexperience and then making a decision whether to put themforward to an Assessment Day
- On day 8, the team went through the Integral AssessmentDay from the HR Business Partner as a candidate, so we had afeel of what to expect. The Director of RG was then given theAssessment Criteria to deliver the course.
- Of the 300 candidates we spoke with, 40 were invited to the Assessment and we had 36 candidates attend.
- 26 of the 36 candidates were put forward to a final interview stage with the hiring Line Manager and 15 of the candidates were appointed.
