Pay Rate: £23.04 per hour (umbrella)

We are currently recruiting for a Pest Control Officer to join a specialist team at Enfield Council. This position covers a vacant post and will focus on delivering a high-quality pest control service across various council and private properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Survey, identify, and eradicate pests within council housing stock, council-owned buildings, land, and temporary accommodation.
Manage and promote pest control contracts with schools, businesses, and other clients to maximise service income.
Attend domestic properties to identify and treat pest issues effectively.
Provide support and advice to the Senior Pest Control Officer and Public Health Officers as required.

Essential Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:

Royal Society of Health Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Pest Management, OR
British Pest Control Association Part 2 Advanced Diploma (or equivalent).

Only candidates who meet the qualification criteria will be considered for interview.

Additional Information:

This role requires awareness of health & safety legislation related to pest control chemicals.
A current DBS check will be required prior to start.
