As the Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with the Coventry Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of projects for the Coventry Account. You will take full responsibility for the delivery of major lifecycle repairs, variations, and other large-scale projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with client specifications. This role will involve working alongside the clients FM and Projects Teams, Coventry Hospitals Project Co, and NHS Trust, managing a project portfolio worth between £5m to £10m annually.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work in partnership with the Coventry Senior Project Manager to support the successful delivery of projects across the Coventry Account.
* Actively contribute to the Account Project Delivery Team and collaborate with the broader FM team in line with the clients policies and best practices.
* Manage the delivery of lifecycle major repairs and variations, ensuring compliance with client guidelines and the clients processes.
* Own and manage the allocated share of the annual projects budget for the Coventry Account.
* Prepare and maintain periodic progress reports (typically monthly and quarterly), providing ad-hoc updates as required.
* Lead the periodic maintenance and upkeep of the SoPM (Statement of Project Management) in collaboration with the Account Director and Senior PM.
* Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including administration, progress management, commercial negotiations, tender evaluation, and documentation preparation.
* Provide commercial insight, contributing to internal and client-facing commercial discussions (occasionally handling these independently).
* Work closely with the clients Projects Centre of Excellence (PCOE) to leverage best practices, resolve resourcing requirements, and ensure effective use of technology and processes.
Main Duties:
* Manage the delivery of projects within a portfolio valued between £5m to £10m, including refurbishment works, mechanical/electrical facility upgrades, and occasionally new developments.
* Drive progress, project manage, and ensure the delivery of projects within agreed timescales and budgets.
* Collaborate with the clients FM and Projects Team, Coventry Hospitals Project Co, and the NHS Trust to create, monitor, and successfully deliver projects.
