Multi-Skilled Tradesperson - Repairs & Maintenance

We are looking for a skilled Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to deliver an efficient, compliant, and high-quality repairs service to my client's customers. You will ensure that customer satisfaction is at the heart of every job you complete.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out a wide variety of carpentry, plumbing, and masonry tasks, both internally and externally, across properties and communal areas.
• Ensure all work meets professional standards, adhering to building regulations, codes of practice, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, providing updates and seeking guidance from your line manager where needed.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer service, acting as an ambassador for my client at all times.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and safe working practices, including the correct use of PPE.
• Deliver jobs on time and to a high standard, ensuring first-time completion whenever possible.
• Use a Schedule of Rates for job costing repairs and ensure repair orders reflect the correct value.
• Participate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota as required.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and records using a smartphone and tablet, following company policies and procedures.
• Source job-related materials through approved suppliers in line with procurement policies.
• Keep the company van and tools in good working order, reporting any defects and keeping equipment secure.
• Work flexibly across multiple trades and assist other team members when required.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven ability to perform a wide variety of carpentry, plumbing, and other trade tasks at a multi-skilled level.
• Experience delivering high-quality work across various property types.
• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or equivalent time-served experience.
• Ability to work efficiently within a trade team, meeting tight deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence (clean).
• Physically fit to carry out demanding manual work.
