Job Specification:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Caretaker to join the team at Highbury Grove School. This role is ideal for someone with excellent timekeeping, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform a variety of caretaking tasks in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- General caretaking duties including cleaning, maintenance, and ensuring the school environment is safe and secure.
- Routine checks and minor repairs around the school grounds.
- Maintain cleanliness in communal areas, classrooms, and restrooms.
- Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS (including barred list check) - a requirement for this role as you will be working within a school environment.
- Good timekeeping, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Experience in caretaking, cleaning, or a similar role is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
