Job Advertisement: Electrician - Covering Rugby and Crewe Train Stations

Location: Covering Rugby (CV21 3LA) and Crewe (CW2 6HR) Train Stations, with a reporting base at Birmingham International (B40 1PA)

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months (Temp to Perm opportunity)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid break)
On-Call: 1 in 6 weeks (Friday 5:00 PM to Friday 8:00 AM)
Pay Rate: £16.29 per hour
Benefits: Vehicle and fuel card provided

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our team, covering reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) jobs in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) works, along with minor fabric tasks. The role involves travel between Rugby and Crewe Train Stations, with a reporting base at Birmingham International.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform reactive and planned maintenance on M&E systems.
  • Carry out minor fabric works as required.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
  • Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 6 weeks).

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • 18th Edition qualified (essential).
  • Experience in M&E maintenance and minor fabric works.
  • Valid driver's license (vehicle and fuel card provided).
  • Ability to start immediately.
