Job Advert: Planner / Repairs Planner / Maintenance Repairs Administrator

Location: Sutton, Greater London (SM1 4LE)
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (with a 1-hour lunch break)
Rate of Pay:

• PAYE: £15.18 per hour
• Umbrella: £18.94 per hour

Main Purpose of the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Planner / Repairs Planner / Maintenance Repairs Administrator to join our team in Sutton. The successful candidate will ensure works orders are scheduled through our in-house appointments system, allocate repair tasks to trade operatives, and ensure all work is completed with minimal turnaround time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of planning and scheduling responsive repair work with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders (surveyors, Contract Managers, Repairs Team Supervisors, Building Control, and Order Compliance Officers) to ensure repair jobs are completed effectively.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times, representing SHP's high standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, pressurized environment, preferably in a Direct Labour Organisation (DLO).
• Proficiency with computer systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven experience in customer service.
• Basic knowledge of repair and maintenance methodologies.

Additional Information:

• Office attendance is required daily.
• This is a frontline service role with a direct impact on SHP's reputation, requiring a proactive and professional approach.
