About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and versatile Multi-Trade Plasterer to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis, supporting the maintenance and refurbishment of social housing properties. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who demonstrates exceptional skills and commitment to transition into a permanent role within our company.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plastering Work: Deliver high-quality plastering services, including skimming, patching, rendering, boarding, and other associated tasks.
  • Multi-Trade Work: Carry out additional repairs in trades such as basic carpentry, tiling, painting, decorating, or plumbing as needed to complete works efficiently.
  • Responsive Repairs: Attend to day-to-day repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and to a high standard.
  • Void Refurbishments: Contribute to bringing void properties back to a habitable standard, ready for new tenants.
  • Tenant Interaction: Maintain a courteous and professional approach when working in occupied properties, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to current health and safety standards, using appropriate tools and PPE at all times.
  • Work Documentation: Record job details, progress, and completion using company systems (digital or manual).

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in plastering, ideally within a social housing or property maintenance environment.
  • Competency in at least two additional trades, such as carpentry, tiling, painting, or plumbing.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (or equivalent qualification) - preferred but not essential.
  • Valid CSCS card - desirable.
  • Full UK driving license - essential.
